Tonya Edmondson joined MPP in June, 2017. Her treatment philosophy is to build, strengthen, and restore rapport with patients, patients’ families, and the community in the provision of mental health services. Her treatment is always geared toward patient-centered goals, and she is committed to serving people of all cultures and of all ages across the lifespan. Tonya takes great pride in improving both mental and physical health for the populations she serves.

Tonya has practiced nursing for twenty-six years, with the last five as an Advanced Practice Nurse, and her credentials include:

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana Wesleyan University
• Masters of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana Wesleyan University
• Completing Post Masters of Science Degree, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, from Northern Kentucky University
• Prescribing experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse with Community Mental Health Centers around the state
